Every year within the framework of the Ulyanovsk technological Symposium DMG MORI holds a championship among the winners of the national competitions of professional skill according to WorldSkills standards.

Close work with educational institutions and customers make DMG MORI Academy a reliable partner which provides a wide range of training programs and equipment to the Russian market.  International educational standards and the latest technologies are at the heart of the DMG MORI Academy.

The Russian team of DMG MORI Academy has 11 coaches who have been trained in Germany and Japan in accordance with international standards.  Highly qualified trainers teach courses on programming, start - up, operation and maintenance of machines in Russian. The center of technologies and solutions in Moscow and the production site in Ulyanovsk have classrooms for training and machines for practical courses. Today more than 400 educational institutions cooperate with DMG MORI Russia. The company has developed customized courses to best meet the needs of customers. In addition, there is a German Industrial Master program for specialists in the field of CNC equipment, as well as intensive courses for teacher training. What is more, DMG MORI Academy regularly conducts seminars, workshops and competitions.

45 machines for the WorldSkills competition 2019

 As a global industry partner of WorldSkills International and a platinum partner of the FINA world Championships in Kazan, DMG MORI will provide competitions in Kazan advanced technology to work on CNC machines and introduce special training courses for participants.

Having rich experience in organization of educational programs, the DMG MORI company since 2013, is the General partner of the WorldSkills movement in Russia, global industry partner of WorldSkills International since 2016. The next WorldSkills will be held in Kazan from 22 to 27 August 2019, where DMG MORI will serve as a platinum partner.

The global partnership involves the provision of technology and special training courses for WorldSkills participants at the DMG MORI Academy. The effectiveness of training programs is confirmed in practice in training centers cooperating with the company. The best results in the qualifications "Lathe work on CNC machines" and "Milling work on CNC machines" at the WSR Championships show technical schools and colleges equipped with DMG MORI techniques.

The company is constantly expanding its activities in the field of training of contestants participating in competitions. As a global industrial partner, DMG MORI not only continues to improve the excellent results of the applicants for the first place, based on the experience of the past competitions in professional skills WorldSkills, but also contributes to the training of specialists at the international level.

 

In 2019, the WorldSkills championship will be held in Kazan. 250 000 visitors from all over the world are expected. 1600 participants from 60 countries will compete in 56 competencies. 2,000 volunteers will support WorldSkills, and about 1,000 journalists will cover the event in news and reports. DMG MORI is ready to support the competition as a Platinum partner by providing machines and technologies.

 DMG MORI will provide 45 machines: 17 CNC machines DMU 50 of 2nd generation for milling, 16 CNC machines CTX 310 ecoline for turning and 9 machine DMC 635 V ecoline for the competency "teamwork in manufacturing" and "Manufacturing of products from polymeric materials". For competition reverse engineering and 3D prototyping DMG MORI LASERTEC will provide two 30 STM 2nd generation. Finally, the CTX beta 800 TC will be equipped with a Robo2Go automation system to practice the skills and abilities in the digital factory competence. All machines have a control system CELOS with Siemens 840D Sinumerik Operate 4.7.

Russian participant Mikhail Vorontsov won a gold medal in the competence "Milling on CNC machines" at Euroskills 2018. His training was conducted with the support of DMG MORI Academy at the Moscow technology center.

 

Today, Russian educational institutions and enterprises are showing great interest in creating comprehensive solutions for training in the field of mechanical engineering. On the basis of the centers established in educational institutions, training of specialists working on high-tech CNC equipment is carried out. Such training centers contribute to the introduction and development of new technologies in Russian enterprises.
